Thank you for the photos. I lived in Ingersoll in 1955 and it is interesting to look back at this scene.

Just found this site! It brings back so many wonderful memories. It was amazing to see a picture of the bells that hung on each main corner of Thames Street during the Chrisman Season. They were made by my Grandfather, Fred Henderson who passed away in 1941. Our whole family were so proud of these bells and fortunately one was recovered 3 years ago and is now part of the Festival Of Lights in Ingersoll.

My mpther and her family lived in Ingersoll in the 1920’s. They lived on King St. Last name was Downing. Looking for the possible address if anyone knows. Thanks.

Beautiful Christmas pictures of my home town in the year I was born. Try to peek in on Ingersoll news once in a while. Might get back in person one of these days too.
